Before returning to the Bay area for the summer I was able to travel the east coast for a couple days. Although I wasn’t able to get pictures of everything, here is some of what I stumbled across:

All snakes seen on this trip: 11 Black racers, 8 Brown watersnake, 4 Pygmy rattlesnakes, 3 Ring necked snakes, 2 Rat snakes, 2 Corn snakes, Ribbon snake, Scarlet kingsnake, Cottonmouth, Brown snake, Red bellied watersnake, Worm snake, Eastern kingsnake, Coastal plains milksnake, Red bellied snake

Notable DORs: Mudsnake, Eastern kingsnake

Other things seen: Box turtles, Painted turtles, Spotted turtles, Eastern mud turtles, Eastern snapping turtles, Yellow bellied turtles, Red bellied turtles, Fawlers toads, Green tree frogs, Narrow mouth toad, Northern red salamander, Dusky salamander, Broad headed skink, Black bears, Possums, Pod of dolphins

And those are only what I took note of.
